DAVIDE SQUILLACE

Davide Squillace, born in Siena and raised in Naples, discovered electronic music in London, returning to Italy energized by the British scene. After studying sound engineering in Naples, he moved to Barcelona in 2004 and quickly became one of the busiest names in electronic music. He’s released music on labels like Desolat, Minus, and Hot Creations and many more. While founding his own imprints, including Sketch, Minisketch and Hideout.

In 2007, Davide became a key resident at Circo Loco, Ibiza’s famed DC10 club, where he still plays regularly. He also formed the trio Better Lost Than Stupid with Matthias Tanzmann and Martin Buttrich.

In 2012, Davide launched This and That Lab, combining music, visual art, and design. His collaborations extend into fashion, such as with Marcelo Burlon on the ‘Gaulicho’ project, blending music and fashion.

Davide continues to innovate, from launching Blender to revisiting his early experimental Telemaco project. Blender, developed with Boiler Corporation and This and That, reimagines the club experience by merging electronic music, contemporary art, and cutting-edge design technology. Each Blender event captures live music, visuals, and crowd interactions, transforming them into unique sculptures and art installations that serve as lasting representations of the event’s energy. Constantly pushing creative boundaries, Davide remains a prolific force in electronic music, with even bigger projects on the horizon.
